Its amazing how defensive a mom can get with her daughter is dressed in PINK and the strangers ask what the BOY's name is... we keep telling Anna that someday she'll have long blond hair to cover the ears she inherited (from her mom). Now we just wait and measure the very blond peach fuz growth daily.

Anna already is sticking her tounge out at her mom - and on que from dad!
Fonz is always by Anna's side - we're not sure if it is because he loves her, likes her "stink", or because that's where mom and dad are always smiling. He does realize that we say "good boy" when he kisses her head, and poor Anna scrunches her face and takes it like a champ. What he dosen't realize, is that soon enough she'll be able to fight back!

All Smiles

It was a great week for smiles! Anna really likes to grin, and mom and dad melt when she does. Dad seems to capture most of the attention!

Well Baby

We are happy to report that we have a little string bean - Anna is now 9 lbs 4 oz, and 22 inches long. That's normal for weight, and 90% percentile for height! Dad may have his basketball player yet! We also were told that Anna's noggin' is seemingly large - coming in at the 75% percentile!

Month 1 - and still smiling

Anna has hit the one month mark! She will have her well baby check up on Tuesday, and we'll report her latest stats. We finally have captured Anna's smile... we're happy, she's happy - and glad she likes us too!
Never question the stregnth of a little girl's grip around her Daddy's finger.

Anna update...

It's hard to believe that our little Anna is almost 4 weeks! She has come a long way since being "Baby Girl" the first 12 hours of life, and is now affectionately called "E.T." - yes, for that little alien that freaked mom out as a little girl, and now describes Anna as she begins to scream, "Banana" - from the previous posts, and "Stinkerbell" - as mom changes her non-stop.

Also, (at risk of jinxing the good fortune - sorry Connell's) Anna has developed a passion for SLEEP like her mom - typically between 11 pm and 8 am (give or take an hour on either side.) We feel VERY blessed that Anna has her mom's sleeping habits. (yes, she likes her naps also).

Anna Banana

No longer wrapped in her warm blanket like a burrito but now in her bath towel like a banana "Chiquita-Anna" realizes that her first bath wasn't nearly as traumatic as Fonzie had told her!
